Wang Yundan Meets SUEP President
On March 19, 2019, SEP Chairman Wang Yundan met with Shanghai University of Electric Power (SUEP) President Li Hexing and Vice President Feng Jinzhang at the company headquarters.
Wang Yundan expressed warm welcome to the visit of Li Hexing and his delegation, and appreciated SUEP for its long-term support. He introduced the development of the company's main businesses, major tasks and achievements made in 2018, the implementation of SPIC's "first-class strategy in 2035" and strategic positioning of "advanced energy technology developer, clean and low-carbon energy provider and energy ecosystem integrator", and elaborated on the layout of talent cultivation, innovative development, overseas expansion and smart city. In the meantime, he hoped that SEP will continue to keep close contact with SUEP, and jointly promote the electricity professional talent training and sharing as well as the mutual integration of theoretical research and industrial application.
Li Hexing expressed thanks to SEP for its sustained support and close cooperation, and briefed on the name change of SUEP, completion of new campus in Lingang, Pudong district, and approval of granting doctor's degree and pilot project of high-level application-oriented university. As a Shanghai-based university specialized in electric power, SUEP has been committed to training electricity talents with strong professional ability and good comprehensive quality. He also hoped that SUEP could maintain and deepen close connection with SEP, provide talent support and professional service better adapted to the practical situation of the company, and assist in the company's innovative transformation and development with its best effort.
Both sides communicated on talent cultivation, industry-university-research cooperation, new campus construction, overseas development and related fields, with a package planning on comprehensive strategic cooperation.
The leaders of SEP General Office, Planning and Development Department, Human Resources Department, Science and Information Technology Department and SEP Crelead participated in the meeting.
